Organic whole raw hemp extract, Organic MCT coconut oil, Organic cannabis terpenes.
Whole raw full spectrum organic hemp extract including CBD, CBDA, CBGA, CBG, CBN, CBC, THCA, with trace THC, flavonoids and terpenes. After extraction the full spectrum of pure organic cannabis terpenes are added to rebalance our oil as nature intended. Delivered in a base of MCT from organic coconuts providing optimal absorption and gentle support for those with sensitive digestive systems.

What are terpenes?
The groundbreaking research by Dr Ethan Russo lead to the discovery of the benefits of Cannabis Terpenes. He named them the 5th healing element, the life force and the spirit of the plant!
It was Dr Russo's research which inspired the creation of Spirit of Hemp. On the UK market, we are currently the only company bringing you a product with a full spectrum of the cannabis terpenes, extracted from the whole cannabis plant! As these are usually lost in the cannabinoid extraction process we decided to extract them separately and add them back in afterwards!
Why is this important?
First of all, each terpene has health benefits of their own even in very small amounts of 0.5% or less. However, they have also been shown to improve the absorption and bio-availability of CBD and other cannabinoids. Finally, they contribute to the entourage effect. Meaning that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and by combining all of the compounds naturally found in the plant you'll get the maximum therapeutic effects!
Interestingly terpenes are not just found in cannabis but all over the plant kingdom. They are in fact the compounds which create a plant. So the uplifting citrusy scent when cutting a fresh orange is caused by the terpene D-Limonene, whilst the beautiful calming smell of french lavender is due to the terpene Linalool!

This incredibly versatile and stable oil is the perfect carrier oil for our food supplements as well as our topical oils. Medium chain triglycerides are a group of saturated fats, sourced from coconut oil. Our oil is a beautifully balanced blend of fatty acids known for their anti-microbial properties. Cold pressed - Whole Raw Hemp Oil
Our organic raw whole hemp oil is always cold-pressed to maintain the maximum benefits and natural balance of the plant.
This careful process makes our oil unique as it contains high amounts of CBDA, THCA and other acidic precursors of common cannabinoids. These are destroyed by heat and light so are usually lost in the extraction process. This is important because they are up to 1000 times more effective than CBD and highly bio-available. They also contain a whole host health benefits. CBDA for example is being studied for its impact on mood as well as it's anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory properties.
